Kathleen Valley’s underground operation is moving fast on every front. We are developing two orebodies concurrently, production is scaling, and major infrastructure is going in to support our planned expansion.

Kathleen Valley has two orebodies, Mt Mann and North-West Flats. During the recent market downturn, we paused North-West Flats and focused on the faster-to-access, high-margin tonnes at Mt Mann. In June, we recommenced North-West Flats development through the existing Mt Mann portals, with a diamond drilling campaign that gives us the grade control to mine with confidence.

Now we are preparing to blast three new portals from the Kathleen’s Corner open pit to unlock key mining areas, while surface work steps up with two additional raisebores, taking us to four in total. Our fifth jumbo arrived this month, and by September we will have seven operating at Kathleen Valley.
