Kathleen Valley Expansion Careers

Most capital project roles ask you to do one thing in one place. This one’s different. Kathleen Valley is expanding, and over the next two years the project will move through underground development, surface infrastructure, and process plant upgrades — meaning real opportunity to work across multiple disciplines within a single assignment.

We’re hiring the dedicated project team that will deliver the next phase of growth at one of Australia’s newest and most significant lithium operations. Early works are underway. A 5.5MW ball mill is on order. Underground development of the Northwest Flats orebody is progressing. These are 2-year maximum term roles, created specifically for our expansion plans.

The scale to back you. The size to see you.

Kathleen Valley Expansion Jobs in Perth & WA

The Kathleen Valley expansion is a live, multi-stage capital programme on a tier-one lithium asset with a 20+ year mine life. The work spans:

  • A new 5.5MW ball mill, expanding processing capacity
  • Underground development of the Northwest Flats orebody
  • Surface infrastructure upgrades to support the larger operation
  • Processing plant upgrades to lift throughput

New workfronts will open as the project develops, with genuine opportunity to gain hands-on experience across underground, surface and processing within a single two-year assignment.

We’re building the team that will deliver this programme. Roles open across several disciplines, including:

  • Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers (multiple disciplines)
  • Construction Supervisors and Managers
  • Contracts Leads and Advisors
  • Health, Safety and Training Advisors
  • Stores and Logistics Supervisors

All roles are 2-year maximum term, created specifically for the expansion, with the structure and resourcing of a serious capital programme.

You’ll work alongside experienced Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers who are invested in developing the team around them. The expansion team is purpose-built, well-resourced, and accountable for delivery — backed by the broader Kathleen Valley operations team and the stability of a long-life, high-quality resource.

  • Experienced in project delivery and looking to accelerate that experience on a live capital programme
  • Proactive about safety and continuous improvement, not just compliant with it
  • A confident collaborator who works well across disciplines and workfronts
  • A problem-solver who wants to help build something, not just maintain it

Most roles operate on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. Flights between Perth Airport and Kathleen Valley run morning and evening, three days a week, with a flight time of approximately one hour, followed by a short 10-minute bus ride to site.

When you’re on site, home is the Dragonfly Village — our modern, state-of-the-art accommodation village shaped after a Tjiwarl Dreamtime story, designed out of respect for the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate.

Every room has an ensuite bathroom, wardrobe, desk, bed, bedside table with lamp, smart TV and fridge. The village is a 10-minute drive from the main work areas, with regular coaster buses running at shift changeover times.

After work, you’ll find a well-equipped gym with personal trainers available, a tavern with pub meals and a relaxed outdoor pavilion, a running track and sports courts, a retail shop with barista-made coffee, and a dining room led by an award-winning chef serving buffet and à la carte menus for breakfast and dinner.
